Gary Holmes Co-Bookwriter

Gary Holmes met J.C. Johnson at age ten, becoming his protégé and lifelong friend. He absorbed J.C.'s music and stories, which inspired TRAV’LIN. Gary, with an MFA in playwriting from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, has had his works produced in colleges and small theaters. His current projects include Diary of a Nobody, the musical revue Night Club Mamas, and a film adaptation of A Good Day Has No Rain.

Allan Shapiro Co-Bookwriter

Allan Shapiro began his theatrical career as an apprentice at the Williamstown Summer Theatre after performing at Harvard. As an entertainment attorney, he worked on Broadway and Off-Broadway productions such as Sophisticated Ladies, Amen Corner, and Say Goodnight, Gracie. He also negotiated contracts with Actors’ Equity and The Dramatists Guild. TRAV’LIN marks his debut as a professional playwright.
